Gondola Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking Price:

  • The booking prices include a convenience fee.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cable Car Department Cancellation:
    • First Phase: ₹800
    • Second Phase: ₹1000
  • Visitor Cancellation:
    • First Phase: ₹600
    • Second Phase: ₹750

 


Car and Package Terms and Conditions

Inclusions:

  • The cost includes parking, fuel, driver’s food, night halts, and waiting charges.

Cab Specifications:

  • Types: Innova / Sedan / SUV / MUV (as per agreed price and vehicle)
  • Features:
    • New model with Heating, Non-AC; AC is extra and chargeable on the day of use.
    • Standard Music system.
    • Operating hours: 9 AM to 6 PM (additional charges apply for extended hours).
    • Wi-Fi enabled (via phone 4G hotspot on demand, ₹50/1024MB).
    • Government-approved commercial tourist vehicle.
    • Insured for all traveling guests as per commercial rules.

Pros:

  • The driver is a local resident and knowledgeable about Kashmiri traditions, cuisine, and culture.
  • Drivers are familiar with good food joints, shopping places, and photogenic spots.
  • Drivers provide information on activities and pricing, and are family-friendly, licensed, and non-alcoholic.
  • Drivers can assist with bargaining at local markets.

 

Policies & Charges

  • Tour Limits: One day per major tourist destination only. Combining two major destinations in one day will be considered as two days unless agreed otherwise.
  • Sightseeing: Local village union taxis, ponies, horses, and other local transport are required for sightseeing. Examples include Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Zero Point, Zojilla, Dras, and Kargil.
  • Timing: Strictly from 9 AM to 6 PM, including Srinagar drop/return. Changes must be agreed upon in advance and may incur extra charges.
  • Overtime Charges:
    • Sedan: ₹100/hour
    • Innova: ₹150/hour
    • Tempo: ₹200/hour
  • AC Charges:
    • Sedan: ₹200
    • Innova: ₹300
  • Advance Payment: 30% required for booking confirmation; 70% due before half the tour is complete or by the 3rd day, whichever is earlier.
  • Permits: Not included for places like Gurez Valley, Kargil, Leh, and Bangus.
  • Liability: No liability for trip cancellations due to breakdowns or other reasons beyond control. Proportional refunds are given if no alternate arrangement is made.

 

Baggage Policy

  • Maximum baggage allowed per passenger: 10 Kgs. Charzan Holidays is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage.
  • Prohibited items include weapons, inflammables, firearms, ammunition, drugs, liquor, smuggled goods, and any other prohibited articles.
  • Arrival and departure times may be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances like traffic.

 

Pet Policy

  • Pets and animals are not allowed inside the vehicle during the journey.

 

Booking Changes

  • Changes to the origin, destination, or customer name are permitted.

 


Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy

Car, Tempo Traveler, Coach Rentals, Tour Packages, and Group Tours:

  • Cancellation Fees:
    • 20% of the package cost if canceled before 72 hours of arrival.
    • 40% of the package cost if canceled before 48 hours of arrival.
    • 50% of the package cost if canceled before 24 hours of arrival.
    • No refund if canceled within 24 hours of arrival.
  • Unused Services: No refunds for missed or unused services.
  • Booking Changes: Can be made with at least two days’ notice by visiting our branch.

Vehicle Capacity:

  • Sedan (Etios/SX4/Accent/Manza): Driver + 3 adult passengers with luggage.
  • Innova/Innova Crysta/Scorpio/SUV: Driver + 6 adults with luggage.

 

Booking Cancellation

  • Charzan Holidays reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time during the tour without providing a reason.
